Our Story
Established May 2017 in the dark, stormy depths of the Stonewall Inn, Mel was instantly drawn to Ash's fun-loving spirit, and Ash was drawn to what she thought was a young, wild-and-free 24-year-old who ended up instead being a med-student-turned-resident ;)
After 1.478 million hours on the A-train between Washington Heights ("the dorms") and Brooklyn, countless evenings of Ash watching Mel study, daily walks for Gus to adjust to his new mother, dates spent wining and dining through New York's finest food and hazy IPAs, scary movie nights with Mel's eyes closed the entire time, globetrotting together (but mostly to Tulum), and settling in as penthouse baronesses of the Upper West Side during a global pandemic...
Melanie and Ashley got engaged in, where else, Tulum, on April 6, 2022.
Their lives together have been filled with laughter, adventure, and best of all, endless support and love from friends and family.
