North Coast Church
Visit our home church while you're in town! Sunday services are at 9:00am and 11:00am.
San Diego Zoo Safari Park
Highly recommend a visit to the Safari Park or San Diego Zoo. Megan interned at the Safari Park during college.
Lake Calavera Preserve
Hike to the place where Tom proposed to Megan! This is a beautiful spot with lots of birds, a small lake, and the core of an ancient volcano.
Santa Margarita River Trail
Go on a pleasant walk where Megan and Tom went for their second date. This trail offers views of a perennial river (the Santa Margarita River) and oodles of native plants and animals.
Revolution Roasters
This is one of Megan's favorite coffee shops in the area! She recommends any of the seasonal lattes and the house-made pastries and baked goods.
GONZO!
This is Megan and Tom's favorite local ramen spot. Meander around downtown Carlsbad after enjoying some tonkotsu ramen (Tom's fav) or Gonzo red (Megan's fav).
Local Tap House
This restaurant is the bomb! The food and drinks are all super tasty. The Dirty Bird sandwich and roasted brussels sprouts appetizer are especially delicious.
