FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive for the ceremony at 2:30pm. The venue grounds are beautiful, and a little bit of walking will be required to get to the ceremony location. The grounds are sloped, but paved and easy to navigate. If you need accommodations to get to the ceremony location, please reach out to let us know!

Question

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Great question! The ceremony will be outside. Those who arrive early will get seats in the shade :) Cocktail hour will also be outside, but will be fully shaded by trees and shade structures. The reception will be indoors at the barn.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be parking available at the small-ish wedding venue parking lot and along the road. We encourage you to carpool or use a ridesharing service!

Question

What should I do if I arrive late?

Answer

We request that tardy guests walk up to the ceremony site, and quietly stand in the back until the groom, bridal party, and bride have all made their way to the front and the officiant has begun to speak. Please quietly take a seat in the back. Thank you for helping to minimize distractions for the bride, groom, and other guests.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at the wedding, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening. Infants and toddlers of the bridal party are the exception.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so grateful for your presence as you join us for our wedding. While we wish everyone could have a plus one, we unfortunately aren’t able to make that happen. Your invitation specifies who is invited to join us on our wedding day. We thank you for your understanding!

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We did not block out rooms, so feel free to book a room where you feel most comfortable. There are many air bnb options in close proximity to the wedding venue, as well as hotels in Vista and along the coast. Please see some of our suggestions below: -Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Oceanside -Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Oceanside -Holiday Inn Oceanside Camp Pendleton Area by IHG -The Seabird Ocean Resort & Spa, a Destination by Hyatt Hotel -Mission Pacific Beach Resort - JDV by Hyatt It's going to be warm inland at this time of year. Staying closer to the coast may bring some relief from the heat!
