Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. For example: cocktail dresses, a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Although Texas weather can rarely be predicted, November is typically cooler with average highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place indoors while cocktail hour will be outdoors.

Question

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We will be hosting a brunch at Tricia and James Marques' house the day after the big day at 11:00 am. If you are still in town, we would love to see you and visit!

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Camino Real Ranch is about a 30 minute drive outside of Austin. They do have limited parking so if you can, we suggest car-pooling or ride sharing to the venue. There will also be a shuttle option which is safe, easy, and free! Check back for more information about the shuttle.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to COVID and venue accommodations, we have a strict guest list. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Our ceremony will be "unplugged". We ask that you refrain from using your phone or camera during the ceremony and enjoy the special moment with us while being fully present.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We will have an assortment of beer, wine, cocktails, and other non-alcoholic drinks available. We are so excited to have a beloved Austin restaurant, Lucy's Fried Chicken, catering dinner for the night. We will have gluten free options available but if you require any other food accommodations please reach out to Jamelle or Megan.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP directly through this website. If you have any issues RSVPing this way, please contact Jamelle or Megan.
