It all started in 2014 and of course it started out on social media. David pursued me for 2 years. He was very persistent in trying to meet me and take me out to the movies and dinner. I said NO every single time. My reasoning behind it was because he ALWAYS wanted to hangout after 9pm because of his basketball practices. Fast forward 2 years, its August 2016, and I am moving into an apartment and my mom is helping me. David and I have been texting probably for the whole summer. My mom and I are trying to hook up the TV and internet and cable but nothing is working. So I called David and asked what he was doing and asked if he could help. And of course, he said yes and came over. But what he didn't know was that my mom was there. So he got to meet myself and my mom for the "first meeting"!

After months of planning and picking out the perfect ring the day had come! I was going to propose to Megan. I woke up early and had a backstory telling Megan I was going to play basketball that morning, she TOTALLY believed it. Instead I was off to the barn to get everything set up to pop the question. I was excited but a whole lot of nervous. When Megan arrived she didn't know that Brian and I were in another room watching on all of the cameras. Megan went out to the arena while I played a playlist of music and once "This Is It" by Scotty McCreery came on the barn doors opened and our families watched as Megan walked down. I waited for the perfect moment in the song where I got down on one knee and asked her to be my wife. And.....she said yes!
