We swiped right and it was a perfect match! Megan was on the Hinge dating app to delete it but being in an airport and needing to pass some time she checked the messages. She couldn't be more thankful that she did because Dan's charming and cute message was waiting for her. From the moment Dan and Megan starting talking it was an instant spark! After a couple of weeks, the two met up for their first date and quickly learned they couldn't be more right for each other. The two believe that their loved ones in heaven worked hard to bring them together.

The proposal had a lot of moving parts and many amazing people were involved! Dan and Megan really have to send a huge thank you to Murphy (see photo below) for pretending that he had a dental surgery. This forced Megan to take two days off of work so Dan and Megan's family could put the plan into action! When Megan woke up that morning she was informed Murphy's surgery was cancelled which she thought was strange but it was before her coffee so she didn't think twice about it! Along with taking care of Murphy, Megan had plans with her sisters to get her nails done and have dinner with the girls including her Aunt Eileen later that evening. According to Megan's sisters, MaryKate and Maureen, they knew she had NO IDEA Dan was getting ready for the proposal because of her nail color choice of... hot pink! Fast forward to dinner - the group walked in the restaurant and the host lead them to the back room. Still having no idea what was going on Megan turned the corner to a private room and saw Dan standing at the end of a path of balloons and flowers. At this point - a private saxophonist started playing covers of some of Megan and Dan's favorite songs. Still in shock Megan asked Dan "what are you doing here?" Dan gave the most romantic speech got down on one knee and Megan said yes!
