When the time came, I watched her babies and would stay late afterwards to visit with her. From then on we've been good friends. She was a secondary mom throughout school and always pushed me to take care of myself and have healthy boundaries. When I first told her about Connor, she told me I deserved to have a man like him in my life

Cheryl loves her son fiercely, and has a keen eye for organization and living with life standards. This is probably the reason Connor found Megan appealing, she too has ideas and dreams for life. Cheryl is not your ordinary "mother in law" she is warm, friendly and has a generous heart.

Mr. Slagle is the epitome of a great husband and partner- hence, Connor was born. Bill also planted in Connor the strong love for schulars bakery and the consequential sugar coma naps.
