Our Story
Our story began in 2016 at San Diego State University, when fate (and a little luck) made us neighbors. After college, we moved in together in Ocean Beach, soaking up life in San Diego, making memories with friends, and taking countless strolls to our favorite spot, Sunset Cliffs.
In 2020, AJ was accepted into graduate school in Philadelphia. We took a leap of faith and moved across the country with nothing but our 14-year-old chihuahua, 13-year-old cat, an inflatable kayak, and some clothes. We spent 5 years living in Manayunk while AJ pursued his studies and Megan worked various NICU nursing jobs.
In June 2023, we got engaged at the top of the Stairway to Heaven hike in Oahu, Hawaii. Today, we’re happily back in sunny Southern California, enjoying the beach, traveling, and spending time with our two kitties. AJ recently graduated medical school and will be starting residency in SoCal. We’re so excited to celebrate with everyone we love in one of our favorite beach towns.
