Our Story as told by Kasia

We met at the steps of Stalnaker Hall at WVU in July 2007 for a summer program. At the time we both were trying to learn about the type of people that we would be around for the next few years. Ironically, we had the same conclusion we both thought each other was weird. In the fall Josh would join the football team and since I was in the band I would always see Josh one way or another. Josh's dorm ended up being walking distance from mine which came in clutch when Josh was sick one day and had to call for help to get meds. During all this we just became good friends. Time passed and something changed. I will admit that I made the first move but it wasn't until months (I do mean months) later that Josh referred to me as his girl. After college, I went back to Virginia and our communication pretty much stopped and I thought welp that's over and I went on with my life. Then around the time my mom got sick Josh would check in on me from time to time and the next thing I know we were doing the long-distance thing. (I give 0 stars don't recommend it). I would come to Florida to visit when I could. Then fate stepped in. My job at the time had a transfer to Florida, which was my dream to live here since I was 16 years old. And now we're here about to celebrate our wedding.

Josh's Story

The first time we met was the summer of 2007, I just graduated for Miramar High, and was ready to start my College career at West Virginia University. I enrolled in a Summer program for freshmen at WVU called STP. Going in I was very driven, because I knew what I was trying to accomplish; walking on to WVUs football team. Little did I know I would meet the woman I was going to marry. We became friends at the summer program, and fasting forward that friendship grew throughout the years. I was on the football team and low and behold, she was in the band. As our college years went on, our friendship started to get a little more serious, and we began dating. After graduation we grew apart a little bit, literally. She went back home to Alexandria, and I came back home to the crib; but we stayed in contact, whether through long talks on the phone, or just a regular text message. Then she told me she was moving down here, and when she did, well, the rest is history.
