Maid of Honor
We graduated together, so we knew each other existed, but became friends when we started going to church together in the summer of 2008. We went to see a mutual close friend in Florida and our friendship began. The true friendship test was a road trip the following year to visit my Dad in Kansas City. A 12 hour road trip, week together and another 12 hour drive back. I was for sure she would be sick of me, but she asked me if I wanted to go to a movie the next night. Haha. We passed. Ten years later she has been through the good and the absolute worst. She makes me a better person, pushes me to try new things, to go new places and to always do what is right. Sometimes I think she knows me better than I know myself. I'm truly blessed to have a best friend like her!

They say cousins are your first best friend. Sarah is mine. I don't have many childhood memories without this girl. From Barbies, Polly Pockets, dress up, grade school, high school to visiting her in college at Central Michigan... we have been there for one another. I have so many life moments with her, I couldn't possibly have room to name them all! We can sit and watch movies all day, talk on the phone or in person for hours. I know I always have a place to go when I need family and a friend all in one, to be released from life's pressures, to color and feel like a kid again and that is Sarah Marie's.

I have known Val since middle school. We've had many memories together! She is fun, kind, caring and adventurous. We have stayed in touch whether she was off in Germany her senior year of high school, her going to school down in Florida, and to her decision to work on a yacht for many years. She is now married and living in Florida but we always pick up where we left off. We have sent many cards, letters, texts and left voice mails to stay in touch. It's proof long distance friendships are easy to keep up. She is always there for me and I for her, near or far. I am always excited when she comes home! I'm secretly plotting a way to get her back to Michigan...

I met Laura in Cosmetology School at Chic. A gal had just quit and she needed a place to sit as a new girl. The station next to me was open and am I ever glad it was! We bonded on our first day over Disney songs and movies! She's always had my back whether it was waking me up when I fell asleep during class in the morning to helping me survive so many girls in one school. She and I have a similar personality and energy level, so it’s so easy to be around her. Over ten years together and we have been there through the thick and thin. She has taught me so many lessons and hasn't sugar coated much. That's what I need sometimes and she knows it! Haha. I feel so lucky that God put her in that station on my left so many years ago!Life would be boring without her!

I met Jamie through my Mom. Jamie came from Minnesota to work at Cargill and there she met my Mom, who immediately decided to adopt her. Haha. Mom set us up on a friendship date at the Lakewood High School football game, where we bonded over ring pops, popcorn and hot chocolate. After that, we basically hung out almost every other weekend or so. Lindsay, Jamie and I would go to movie theater marathons, have weekend game nights with Mom and bond over similar music, movies and TV series.A few years later she decided to move back home to Minnesota. I knew it was hard for both of us to say goodbye, kinda like when Rachel and Monica say goodbye in F.R.I.E.N.D.S, but we both knew we would keep in touch. Every time she is "home”, it is like she never left. Thanks to Mom for setting us up! <3
Flower Girl
This amazing woman has taught me so much about having children and about life. I remember when my Aunt Tammie and my cousins moved back to Michigan. Jackie has grown up with Sarah and I since we were little girls. I love her laugh, honesty and determination. She has three boys who have taught me so much about love. I enjoy spending time with all of them, whether it be Disney movie day, room cleaning day, going to the zoo or park or just playing outside! I don't have kids, but I'm pretty sure I love them like they would be my own. Jackie is a good mom who works very hard to give these boys (Owen-5, Emmett-3 and Lincoln-1) a good life! This beautiful gal will be bringing those little lovable boys down the isle as flower boy, ring bearer, and mini sidekick on our big day.

Derrrik is my step-brother. The step really isn’t a thing though. We have watched movies and eaten a whole thing of Oreos together since I can remember. He always drops anything to do something for me. He is always there. Great guy and excellent brother! Meghean is my step-sister. We have been together for so long that step isn’t really necessary in the title. She has taught me so much about life and people. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without her. She was my first guinea pig for my hair life! I owe her a lot for that! She is kind and caring but don’t cross her! Haha! I love her to pieces!
Best Man
It all started back in kindergarten. Our friendship has only grown since. We have been there for each other through thick and thin. From both our parents getting divorced at the same time to long weekends at buddies camps. Dave is the type of guy that you never have to wonder if he will be there for you when you really need it, other than when he confuses you for Tanner Popps.
Groomsman
Look in Webster dictionary for the words genuine, honest, loyal and kind, I'm pretty sure Luke's little mug will be there. We were basically inseparable from age 16 and on. We have been to more states and countries together and made more memories together than I'll ever remember. You know how they say you can't put a price on a friendship? Not true but it wouldn't be cheap.

Gaige and I didn't even hang out or really know each other very well until I moved down state in 2008. We quickly grew into our roles as brothers. Although he doesn't act like he enjoys my criticism and badgering, I know he always listens to me and takes me seriously. I think he is the hardest person to reach on his phone but he has never failed to answer when I really needed him. Love my little bro.

I have literally known Nick my entire life. He was the only one I wanted to see when I would come down state to visit. He is responsible for introducing me to all of his friends without hesitation. Those guys are still my closest friends down here. I'd be lost without them. Nick is one of the most unselfish, caring and hilarious people that I have the honor of calling my friend.
Groomsman
Mike was one of my good friends that Nick introduced me to. He always seems to beat me to the hospital to care for Nick during one of his many near death experiences. He will always be there for his friends no matter where he is or what he is doing. Mike is the type of friend that does not hesitate to call his friends out when they need it and nobody else will do it. That type of friend does not come around everyday.
Usher
This group of life long friends wouldn’t be complete without the notorious “Gordo” there. He is always the guy who can seem to make us laugh, no matter what may be going on in any of our lives. The absence of his wit and sense of humor would be something that I think all of us would agree, would feel like an enormous empty whole in the core of our band of brothers. A great friend that is always there. Even for our camping trips that he averages an hour of sleep per night...
