Matron of Honor
Emily is Mathea's childhood bestie. Brought together by matching LG Rumor Touch phones, further bonded by extra large big toes and eventful camping trips, they have remained tight for over 12 years. Emily is as cool as they come, a seeker of the perfect cardamon bun and the ultimate adventurer. Fun fact: Emily was an excellent trombonist in High School. Emily is a Pisces.
Best Man
Evan is Matt's younger brother. Self-assured, independent, and a little too smart for his own good, Evan has always cast his own shadow, sure to not be looked at as a younger sibling.
Bridesmaid
Hanna is Mathea's sister, so they met when Mathea was born. Hanna is most comfortable on top of a mountain, or on a camel, or saving the kids of the most derelict dorms at UD, or running 28 marathons back to back, or doing humanitarian work in a warzone. She is adventurous, badass, silly, and a friend to all goats. Hanna is super inspiring, and even more fun to conspire with. Hanna is a Capricorn/Aquarius cusp.
Groomsman
Blake is Matt's childhood best friend, they met sometime between being born and turning eight but exactly when is hard to pinpoint. Both college dropouts, Marine Corps Veterans, and born-again college students, they have chronic copycat syndrome.
Bridesmaid
Emma is Mathea's sister-in-law-to-be. Emma is effortlessly cool, laid back, witty, super smart, and a big fan of Tool cover bands. She is an excellent documentarian, with critically acclaimed films such as "It's My Birthday and Everyone is Still Talking about Matt" and "Evan Turns 18 at Mommoms". Emma is at her best when she's beating out grad students for a very prestigious internship at the Children's Hospital in Philadelphia. Emma is a Capricorn.
Groomsman
Trey and Matt did not always get along. For eight months they were never much further than twenty feet from each other and what was born from the fighting and the arguing was a complex and deeply intrapersonal relationship that is difficult to put into words... we are our kindest while watching bad horror television.
Bridesmaid
Reetz and Mathea met on the first day of painting class at UD and have loved being weirdos together ever since. They are kindred spirits, paranormal investigators, and co-presidents of the Dean Winchester fan club. A touch under 5'4", Reetz is a creative powerhouse, a wonderful chef, and the coolest roommate (sry boys). She is at her best at 3 am brushing her teeth in close quarters or showing you around LA and convincing you to move to the West Coast. Reetz is a Cancer.
Groomsman
Steve was Matt's first roommate in the military. After returning from Afghanistan he revisited his humble beginnings as a deli market employee, becoming the head chef in our kitchen during family dinners, to much critical acclaim. Ask him about the marlin he caught in Japan!
Bridesmaid
Sophie met Mathea by osmosis at UD, quickly becoming an important part of Mathea's life. Sophie is equal parts crunchy-granola nature girl, DJ extraordinaire, hot French model, compulsive folder, and artist. She is a cat mother of two and at her best when curating the ultimate Philly friend group or accidentally spoiling every important plot point in the show you're watching. Sophie is a Gemini.
Groomsman
Matt and Adam met in high school where they could be found working the late shift at the local grocery store, devouring movies, and stealing street signs. They are their closest in the cabin of Adam's car, burning rubber on the asphalt of the Brandywine Valley.
Bridesmaid
Lilly is Mathea's cousin by chance, and pal by choice. Mathea and Lilly bonded over their love of a captive audience. They were known to wow and shock the family and neighbors with their performances, activism, and street-urchin-larping. Lilly is the life of the party, deeply empathetic, extremely kickass, and sometimes very sleepy over ramen. Lilly is a Cancer.
Groomswoman
Bri and Matt were neighbors their freshman year at the University of Delaware. In 2019, living out of Matt's truck, they took a calamitous, but otherwise successful, road trip from Long Island to the Grand Canyon. To this day it is still one of Matt's happiest memories.
