Before the celebrations begin, we wanted to share a little of our story. We met in a bar in East London. Matt was working, and Emilie wandered in behind a friend. What Matt didn’t realise was that Emilie had noticed him right away, and quietly decided he was someone worth getting to know. After a few hints about Australia and some witty remarks, she asked for his number. If you know us, you’ll remember we toyed with the idea of being “just friends” for a while. Emilie was set on having a brat summer, but Matt, with patience and kindness, kept showing her what love could really look like. Slowly, things shifted, and something deeper unfolded. In December 2025, during a quiet coastal walk, Matt asked Emilie to marry him. Since then, we’ve lived in different countries, shared homes, and built a life filled with laughter, growth, and memories we’ll carry with us forever. This wedding is not just about one day, but a celebration of everything that brought us here... every twist of fate, every shared moment, and every one of you who has supported us along the way.
