Both Mandy and Matt have experienced pain from broken prior relationships, leading both to pray long and hard for God’s intervention on their behalf in finding “the one”. Neither Mandy nor Matt had any idea that “the one” was already a few pews over in church. The first time Mandy realized Matt was for her was during a raw and emotional prayer about the future God has for her while driving through Luray, when God clearly laid Matt on her heart. At that exact moment, as Mandy asked for obvious signs if God was really leading her to Matt as her heart felt, Mandy noticed a car passing her and lo and behold, it was Matt Presgraves in the driver’s seat as Matt’s name was being laid on her heart. Only a short while later and without any prompting, Mandy’s son David confided in family members that only one man was good enough to date his Mom; Matt Presgraves. From there, David concocted a plan to bribe Matt with the promise of cookies if he agreed to date Mandy. Because of his love for cookies, Matt did in fact agree to date Mandy. The rest is history :)
