The Wedding Ceremony will be held in San Francisco City Hall on Wednesday, May 28th. If you are invited to the ceremony, you will have a ceremony card in your invitation. It will be a 1 hour ceremony for only close family and friends that will be from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. After the ceremony, that evening, at 630pm, there will be a short Nikkah ceremony (Islamic Wedding Ceremony) at the Bride and Groom's residence in Santa Clara, if you'd like to attend.
The Wedding Reception will be held on Thursday, May 29th from 6:00pm-12:00am in San Jose, at The Ranch at Silver Creek. Our wedding will be a multicultural wedding, the bride is Afghan/Iranian and the groom is Armenian/German, so expect to hear a variety of music. Don't be shy, just put on your dancing shoes, move to the beats and have fun.
We are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.
While your presence on our special day is the greatest gift we could ask for, should you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon/our future together would be sincerely appreciated! There will be a card box on our welcome table, but please no wrapped gifts. Thank you!
Our wedding ceremony in SF is semi-formal (short or long dresses for women, slacks with a button up shirt and tie or suits for men) and the wedding reception is a formal affair, so we ask that you wear formal attire (long dresses for women and suits for men). For women, please do not wear white or any color that can be mistaken for white (cream, beige, ivory, champagne, etc.)
As much as we'd love to share our day with beloved little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding child-free. Our wedding will be adult oriented, so we won't be having anyone under the age of 16 at the wedding. We appreciate your understanding!
We will be having a premium liquor open bar for cocktail hour and the reception with two signature cocktails, as well as, nonalcoholic drinks and a signature mocktail. If you are feeling generous, you can bring cash to tip your bartender. The open bar will close at 1030pm, and will turn into a cash bar after that, so please bring cash if you wish to continue drinking alcohol until the end of the reception.
Please RSVP on this website by April 18th, 2025.
The wedding ceremony will be at SF City Hall, so we encourage you to carpool, if possible. There is an underground parking garage in front of City Hall that is safer than street parking. There are also many street parking restrictions, so please read the signs carefully, we do not want anyone to get ticketed or towed. We also encourage Lyft/Uber if you do not like driving in the city.
There is plenty of parking in front of our venue, but please do Lyft/Uber or have a designated driver if you plan to drink!
We will be having a buffet with several salads, chicken, beef and vegetarian options. So there will be something for hopefully everyone to enjoy!
The closest airport would be San Jose Mineta International Airport, it is about 5 miles away and an 8-10 minute drive. SFO is about a 31 miles away, so a 35 minute drive, but it can be up to an hour with traffic during the week. Oakland International airport is 35 miles away, about a 40-45 minute drive and it can exceed an hour with traffic during the week.
