COME PARTY WITH US!

Three weeks after the Kansas City Royals won the 2015 World Series, Pat and MaryJane had both given up on online dating and decided to have dinner at McCoy’s in Westport together (rest in peace to the best brunch in Kansas City) with an actual grown up and see what happened. That night, they talked about The Karate Kid and The Outsiders and Tom Petty – you know, all the important stuff – for far, far too many hours. MaryJane would later say she had never been on a comfier, easier first date, and after that, Pat never stopped texting ‘good morning.’ Pat and MaryJane fell a little bit in love that night, and probably owe most of their early love story to their WiFi, but things have only gotten better since then. There isn’t really a cute, romantic way to talk about meeting online in this day and age, but things work out the way they are supposed to – if you need proof. They have persisted through job changes, citywide championships (go Chiefs! go Jayhawks!), a pandemic, and a whole lot of love, and want nothing more than for you all to join them on the happiest day of their lives!
