Mark & Kelly

BouquetBouquet

Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who are walking down the aisle with us!

Robert Geis

Best Man

"I don’t exactly remember when I met Mark, but from what I’m told it was somewhere in the one week old area. While we have no blood relation, Mark’s parents are my aunt and uncle and he is my big brother. We’ve been through thick and thin together and I’m so excited to be his best man on his wedding day."

Kim Johnson

Maid of Honor

“I met Kelly the day I was born. Best friends since birth, I have always looked up to my older sister, that is until I got taller than her and had to start looking down on her. Kelly is the most amazing sister, wine drinking partner, duet singing adventure buddy there is and I know she is going to make the most amazing wife to Marky Mark. I am honored that I get to stand by both of them on their special day.”

Tim Smith

Groomsman

“I am one of Marks two brothers so I have known him my whole life. He's a mellow kind hearted soul that loves Kelly, metal music, world of warcraft, fishing and a good cocktail. We've had the best of times growing up and more memories that ended with us laughing in tears than I can count. I have been lucky to have him as a brother, that's for certain. I met Kelly years ago with Mark at a party they all had at our house. Since I met her then and saw Kelly and Mark's friendship, I had always had a feeling (or hope) that they might end up together. So with that, I am honored to be in their wedding, I am so happy these two are finally getting married and we are all so happy to have Kelly become a part of the family.”

Justine Bosio

Matron of Honor

“I have known Kelly my entire life; I knew her parents before she did. I cannot think of a memory she is not a part of and I wouldn’t give that up for anything! She’s a great aunt to my child, an equally great friend to me and I’m so excited to stand by her side on the day she marries the love of her life ❤️ Now Mark I have known for 10+ years and I am thankful to have become close with his family as well. Mark and I were fast friends and I'm thrilled to not only see him be so happy, but also to be marrying my best friend. Love you both immensely!”

Sam Smith

Groomsman

Mark’s youngest brother.

Miranda Jones

Bridesmaid

“Growing up with Kelly as my cousin has been an absolutely priceless gift. She was as eager to be a part of my life from the day I was brought home through my adoption and is as eager to be a part of my life today, and for that I am so grateful. I am so lucky to have had such an amazing person to look up to throughout my childhood. And not just because I inherited all of her Hollister hand-me-downs. ;) Kelly and Mark are a pairing that makes even more sense than cheese with wine. I've known forever that Kelly deserves utmost happiness and fortune and I am so excited to see that come to fruition on her wedding day, and to be standing by her side is the icing on the (wedding) cake.”

Robert Bosio

Groomsman

“Though I knew Kelly first, Mark and I became fast friends when we met over 10 years ago. We've bonded over BBQs, fantasy football, Catan, softball, and (sometimes impromptu) trips to Vegas! I was stoked when he and Kelly became "official" and ecstatic when engaged as I knew we'd have double date partners for life! Can't wait to share in all the joys to come!”

Torie Solomon

Bridesmaid

"Kelly and I met where all best friendships begin...at summer camp. But we didn't go to summer camp together... We also didn't even overlap at camp or even do the same job at camp. But fate is fate! Over the years, we've been as far apart as LA and Boston or LA to Santa Barbara, we have always found our way back into each others' lives. From collecting Christmas tree ornaments at different malls across Los Angeles, to driving to Santa Barbara just to see the sunrise, or attempting to TP a house or two, we have now matured and do things like enjoy wine at restaurants and talk about potential fishing trips (but would rather do the former anyday)."

Jim Lyons

Groomsman

“I met Mark when I blindly moved into his house. Our friendship immediately took flight, bonding over cheaply made and overacted horror movies, and evolving over group boardgames and delectable cuisine. There has never been any shortness of laughter in the 7+ years of being roommates as we have traversed California for the best disc golf courses, swindled and been swindled by the finest outlaws of Gloomhaven, crossed work paths at Yardi, obliterated hundreds of thousands of the undead, won softball championships, and eaten many pounds of homemade smoked salmon. As a comrade who has gone into battle with Mark many times, I am overjoyed that Mark has found his true love and will be stating the vows. I believe Mark is as loyal as they come and, in him, Kelly has the most tremendous ally.”

Randi Swilley

Bridesmaid

“Kelly and I met when I was rushing TriDelta in college. She was the bubbly, blonde rush chair and I knew we would become great friends. After college is when we became super close and had so many fun adventures together. From dressing up as Barbie dolls for our first rave together to running down Hollywood Boulevard at 2 AM in four inch heels so that we could find the Britney Spears star and Marilyn Monroe handprints, to countless nights out in Santa Barbara, the two of us are always laughing and having fun together no matter what we are doing. I am just so excited and honored to be a part of Kelly and Mark's special day!”

Tudor Barac-Matei

Groomsman

“Oct. 3rd 2009, my first Avocado festival! Kelly and I met through a friend and got along swimmingly. As we worked our way through revelry down Linden Ave, I stopped at City Market Liquor. Kelly objected: “you won’t need that.” Steps later, shots at her Aunt’s then danced the afternoon away with family and friends at The Palms! Not much has changed. Kelly has always been a fun, loving, caring compassionate soul- evident through her family and friends… Oct. 5th 2019, celebratory 10 year friendiversary brunch at Derf’s. More importantly, my first time meeting Mark! Love at first sight! Our rendezvous was cut short as Kelly and Mark had a friend’s wedding. How poetic?! Many jolly times ensued. Many more will come. With much gratitude I thank you both for sharing your spectacular journey!”

Jacqueline Briner

Bridesmaid

"Kelly and I met while working at Pottery Barn in Santa Barbara, and unlike my husband, it was love at first sight! She was by my side at my wedding and for my babies, and I am so grateful and honored that I get to be apart of her special day."

Mikael Powers

Groomsman

Susan Schiferl Smith

Bridesmaid

“Soon to be sisters-in-law - we’ve become great friends over the last few years. We both love planning creative, fabulous times, and love spending time with family together.”

Heather Salvatore

Bridesmaid

"Where do I start... I first met Kelly when I moved to Santa Barbara and we were on the same kickball team. Yes adult kickball exists, sounds awesome right?! We quickly realized we worked at the same company and became inseparable. Our friendship grew based on our love of adventure, music, crafting, hiking, laughing, Archer (my dog) and obviously wine tasting. I am so excited to be a part of Kelly and Mark's big day!"

Scarlett Busby

Junior Bridesmaid

“I have known Kelly for 11 years, or I think. I don’t really remember because I’m eleven*. Anyways, Kelly is my favorite cousin to have invited me to be a junior bridesmaid. Well… she is actually the only cousin I have that’s engaged but that’s besides the point. She has been there for me through all the late night and early morning FaceTime calls (it’s usually when she is sleeping, but that’s because I had yet to learn the difference between eastern and pacific time zones ) but I am so glad I get to be a part of her and Mark’s wedding.” *I (Kelly) remember hearing that Amy (Scarlett’s mom) was pregnant at my college graduation 💕

Kyla Smith

Flower Girl

Our adorable, sweet niece, who might like walking down the aisle with Cash better than us - little besties!

Cash Bosio

Ring Bearer

The sweetest little, dinosaur-lover you’ll ever meet, and he loves his “aunt” and “uncle” just as much as we love him!

Gordon Morrell

Officiant

We are so honored to have Gordon officiate our wedding. Kelly met Gordon when she started working at Yardi in 2014. Through planning and attending events and managing the nonprofit program, Gordon became a mentor and close friend. He and his wife, Sheila, entrusted Kelly (and in time, Mark) to watch their house when they are in Maine for the summer. They are genuine, welcoming, and we always have a wonderful time with them!
