No dress code here! Wear whatever makes you feel good and is comfortable enough to dance the night away! Please keep in mind that the venue is dirt and gravel; close-toed shoes are recommended. Ely is usually beautifully warm in the summer, but is also very unpredictable; having a jacket on hand would be appropriate.
We are so fortunate to have so many loved ones, and we would love to be able to have all of the amazing people in our lives attend our special day. However, due to the limited space at our venue we will not be able to accommodate all. Please refer to your RSVP card or the RSVP section on the website for a reminder of the number of guests we have reserved for your party.
Unfortunately our area does not have an Uber or Lyft. However, we are in the works of hiring some awesome designated drivers that will available to take you to and/or from the event! Once we have finalized these drivers we will provide the contact information here and will also have it available at the venue. STAY TUNED. Keep in mind, they will be driving average sized cars. Large parties will have to split up into multiple vehicles.
Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer and an awesome videographer to capture this day and they promise to share! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want. :)
There is a parking lot at the venue. However, if it is possible for you to carpool, please do so. We have a large guest list and want to make sure that everybody will have a spot.
Unfortunately, we have reserved the campsites for the immediate family of the bride and groom. Although the website shows that there are available campsites to purchase, this is inaccurate. We have reserved them privately through the Forest Service and what shows on the website may not be available. So, if you have not made prior arrangements with the bride to reserve a campsite, please make other arrangements or refer to our hotel blocks so that you do not end up without a place to stay. If you have any questions on camping/campsites please contact the bride. If you wish to bring a trailer and camp at other locations there ware many beautiful places in our area to camp. RV Parks such as the Ely KOA, Valley View, or West End RV also may have some availability.
Unfortunately, the campsites at the venue do not come equipped with power and water. If you are one of the people who has reserved a campsite with the bride, please plan accordingly. There are outhouses available throughout the campground, but there is not running water in them.
Head west out of Ely on the US-6 W for 6.4 miles. Turn left off of the highway. There will be a sign reading "Ward Mountain Campground". Continue along the dirt road and the venue will be on your right. The parking lot will be on your left.
