We're tying the knot!

Omar & Maria, ironically, weren't very keen to be introduced. Maria had gotten used to being independent, didn't really see the need for dating. Omar was ready to be on his own for awhile, having only just ended a relationship. Luckily, life (and a really good friend) had other plans. It was in December, over Christmas - they each received an invitation from their mutual friend, Alex (the M.O.H) to exchange gifts at her place. Now, depending on who you ask; this was a deliberate setup, or it was just a lucky arrangement. Either way, when Maria walked in the door (15 minutes late) and found only Omar sitting there; both of them instantly knew two things: First....there was no one else coming to this party, Second, they were not going to able to avoid meeting each other any longer. They hit it off right away, though, joking and talking as though they had been friends for years. And now they are happily the best of friends who also are lucky enough to be the loves of each other's lives.
