Newport is famous for the beautiful mansions that are open to the public for tours and events. The Newport Preservation Society has a list of all special events and tour schedules! Margaret's personal favorite is one of the Saturday morning Garden Tours!
Newport National Golf Club
If you're looking for Colin at all during this weekend...he will probably be here! The course is about 15 minutes from Downtown Newport and you can book your Tee time 21 days in advance, which we recommend! Just like everything else in Newport, they book quickly!
Cliff Walk
The Cliffwalk is perfect for guests of all ages! This 3.5 mile public walkway on the shoreline offers unbeatable views!
Bellevue Avenue
Bellevue Avenue is one of the most well known streets in Newport! It is home to many of the infamous mansions and luxury shops!
Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling Co.
Stop by for a tasting of their locally brewed craft beer and distilled rum/whiskey! If you are in town early or staying a few days after the wedding they offer tours daily at 3pm (Closed Tuesday)
Bowens Wharf
Bowen's Wharf is where one of our favorite restaurants is located! If you have time to check out 22 Bowen's Wine Bar & Grille...do it! There are also so many great shops, restaurants, and bars here!
Newport Vineyards
This is one of our FAVORITE spots! The Newport Vineyard won't disappoint! Stop by their tasting room to try some wine, take a tour, or enjoy lunch on their beautiful outdoor patio. P.S If you're staying at East Island Reserve, the winery is right next door!
