Best Man
Quin Moran is the brother of the Brad Hiatt, he is 18 years old and has a passion for rodeo. He has been in the rodeo community for most of his life but has been fighting bulls for the past 4 years, which makes him one of the youngest bull fighters in the country. Quin is an inspiration to both Brad and Margaret because he is making his dreams come true. We are extremely proud of him and cannot wait to see him continue to grow as an amazing man and a legit cowboy. We are honored to have him with us on our special day.
Maid of Honor
Abbie is Margaret's cousin, though they often feel more like sisters. They even had a few (ok many) sisterly fights. Playing together was always the highlight of Buehler family parties growing up, whether we were destroying toys in the playroom, breaking windows in the basement, or shooting off fireworks in the backyard. Even though they live in different cities now, Margaret treasures the time she gets to spend with Abbie and her amazing children! Through all of their ups and downs, Abbie has always been there for Margaret and we couldn't imagine anyone else for the role.
Groomswoman
Jane met Brad while working at the Insectarium in New Orleans in 2016. They remained close as they bonded over animal care, crabby visitors, and several late nights in the French Quarter. Jane has always been one of Brad's closest friends and supported him through many struggles. Brad still always carries an old Costa Rican bill note she gave him on one of the first days they met. Brad and Margaret love to spend time with Jane and we are so happy to have her be part of our wedding.
Bridesmaid
Margaret met and Kelly in high school at Ursuline Academy in St. Louis in 2005. They were far from the coolest kids in school, but managed to have a lot of fun together. As they grew older, they remained close even as their journeys were difficult at times. Now as well-adjusted adults (at least somewhat), they bond over their love of performing, their snake babies, and, of course, old Ursuline dance recital videos.
Groomsman
Brad and Margaret got the pleasure of meeting John one late night at a gaming store. Margaret was thrilled when John offered to introduce us to Dungeons and Dragons. Though Brad was apathetic at first, he later plunged head first into this nerdy new game (Don't worry, he'll tell you all about it). When we aren't navigating war and politics in magical realms, we spend lots of time with John playing board games and chatting about life. We have also had some fantastic nights out at bars and clubs in the French Quarter. John quickly became like family to us, so of course we had to have him in the wedding party.
Bridesman
Margaret met Parag at St. Louis University in 2010 and became fast friends. She and the now Dr. Bhatt have commiserated over the struggles of graduate school, faced joy and heartbreak at the hands of the Blues and Cardinals, and closed down a lot of South City bars. As one of Margaret's favorite people, she couldn't let him avoid being in the bridal party, and thus, deemed him her bridesman!
Groomsman
We met Tim and his brother Louis while playing softball in the Tulane Graduate Student summer league. We immediately bonded over sports, nerdy games, and our undeniable Midwestern-ness. Over the years, we spent lots of time playing board games, DnD, sports, trivia, and just spending time together. Tim is always genuine and caring, and part of why we love him is that he is never anything but himself. He is lots of fun and we can't wait for him to join us on the dance floor.
Bridesman
Margaret first met Louis in the Tulane Grad Student softball league. Even though he was the sole representative from the Math department, Margaret immediately knew that he was the fun one on the team. We met his brother Tim a few weeks later, and we all immediately clicked. Louis is a friend we know we can always count on, (he's even taken us to the airport at 6am with a smile on his face). Louis is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. He is fiercely loyal, confident, nerdy, and lots of fun. We are both thrilled to have him in the wedding party!
Flower Girl
The groom's little sister will follow the wedding party down the isle. While she was always close with Brad, she has since grown close with Margaret and truly became her little sister. She may not be a traditional Flower Girl, but she is the only one we want for the job!
Usher
Upon arrival, you will meet Brad's younger sister Hannah. Hannah is a recent college graduate, currently working for an organization to help children suffering from abuse. She is a smart, caring, and talented woman, who Brad is proud of, and Margaret can't wait to add to her list of strong female relatives!
Usher
Though she is often too competitive to admit it, Margaret attributes much of her quick wit, ambition, and fun spirit to her brother Max. She always looked up to him, so it is no coincidence that they are similarly competitive, ambitious, and found amazing partners. It means a lot to her and Brad that Max can help them enter into the next chapter of their lives.
Usher
Brad's brother Jack, along with Margaret's brother Max, will be one of the two strikingly-tall men showing you to your seats. Though he is still young, Jack has showed undeniable strength, ambition, and bravery. We know he will grow into an amazing man and never settle for less than his dreams. We are thrilled to have him help on this special day, and we can't wait to see what he accomplishes in the next few years.
