Question

The Zoo is big, where specifically should I go?

Answer

Please enter through the North Entrance, aka The Living World. You can type "St. Louis Zoo North Entrance" into google maps or a rideshare app and you will end up in the correct place. If you drive, you may park for free in the North Parking Lot. We will have ushers in the parking lot to direct you toward the entrance. Golf carts will be available to shuttle guests to the ceremony site, or you can enjoy a stroll through the zoo!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

5:30 - 5:50 PM The ceremony will start promptly at 6:00 pm, and it is a few minutes away from the entrance. Be sure you allow time to park and get to the ceremony location in time.

Is the wedding outside or inside?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be outdoors on the zoo grounds, but the reception will be indoors. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony and reception will take place indoors at the Living World. Either way, you will be entering through the North Entrance/The Living World.

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail attire, but be sure wear grass-friendly shoes for the ceremony.

Aside from a few teenage siblings, we have decided to have an adults only wedding. Although we adore your children, due to budget/space constraints we ask that only adults attend.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

For our out of town guests, St. Louis is known for its chaotic weather. However, late September in St. Louis should be nice weather (fingers crossed!). There is still a chance for it to be hot (80s or 90s), and a lesser chance that it might be chilly (50s). We recommend you check the weather before you travel.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We promise you will still have a good time!
