Guests are welcome to arrive as early as 3:30 PM to enjoy a welcome glass of champagne. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM.
The reception will wrap up at midnight, but knowing this crowd, we expect the dance floor to be full until the very end.
We’re still figuring it out, but if anything is in the works, we’ll update this page. Stay tuned!
Please RSVP by April 1st so we can plan accordingly. If we don’t hear from you by then, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend—but we’ll miss you!
Yes! For the Welcome Drinks, think elevated casual—somewhere between effortlessly cool and put-together. A little dressed up, but nothing too formal. Midi or maxi dresses, chic sets, or effortless yet polished looks are perfect. Just no jeans, or shorts, please! Santa Barbara evenings can get chilly, so bring a light jacket or sweater to stay comfortable. For the Wedding Day, the dress code is Garden Party Chic—sophisticated but relaxed. The ceremony and dinner will take place in an outdoor garden, followed by dancing indoors. We recommend: For women: Elegant maxi dresses, elevated looks or flowy silhouettes that feel polished but effortless. Think soft florals, classic solids, or airy fabrics that work beautifully in a garden setting. Wear whatever color makes you feel your best—except white! If you need inspiration, light, warm, or nature-inspired tones will complement the outdoor space beautifully. Heels, dressy flats, or chic sandals are all great options—just keep in mind there will be grass! For men: We recommend wearing a suit --- just keep in mind the outdoor setting and time of year (it can get chilly). A tie is optional but always welcome. Santa Barbara evenings tend to cool down, so bringing a light layer is a good idea!
Santa Barbara in late May is typically mild and pleasant, with average daytime highs around 72°F (22°C) and evening lows near 54°F (12°C). While rain is unlikely, evenings can get chilly, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap—especially for the outdoor portions of the wedding. Check back closer to the date for updated forecasts!
Yes! We have a room block at Mar Monte—book by April 15th to secure the rate. The group code is "G-BMW1". We’ve also listed a few other great hotel options under the Travel & Accommodations section.
The venue has limited onsite parking for events and can arrange valet parking for a few attendees. However, due to its location in the Riviera neighborhood, we strongly recommend carpooling or using alternative transportation like Uber or Lyft.
We won’t be providing transportation, but we highly recommend using Uber, Lyft, or a local taxi service to get to and from the venue. Valet parking is available at El Encanto if you prefer to drive.
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a fun night off with us!
Yes! We can accommodate specific dietary restrictions. We’ll be sending a separate note closer to the date to confirm any special requests.
Our wedding is invite-only, and due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Yes! We’re hosting welcome drinks on Friday, 30th at Frequency Wine Club from 6:00-9:00pm. It’s a casual gathering with wine and light bites to kick off the weekend. More details are on the Schedule page.
While we won’t be hosting a formal brunch, we’ll be hanging out at El Encanto on Sunday morning if you’d like to swing by and say hi before heading out!
