When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by October 19, 2023.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Forest House Lodge at 2:00 PM. We will head to the ceremony site, which is 1.5 miles down the road, at 3:00 PM. The ceremony will start promptly at 3:30 PM.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Guests can park in front of Forest House Lodge upon arrival at 2:00 PM and then will need to drive to the ceremony site 1.5 miles away at Grand Sierra Pointe at 3:00 PM. We suggest carpooling to the ceremony site if possible!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! The ceremony will be outside and it may be cold in mid-November in the foothills. The reception will be indoors.

Are kids welcome?

Due to a limited capacity at the venue, we kindly request that you leave your children at home.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you received a plus one it will be listed on your invitation and appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.

What is the bar situation?

Answer

A welcome glass of champagne will be offered to guests upon arrival at the lodge. Complementary beer, wine and champagne will be served from cocktail hour into the after party. We will have 2 signature cocktails that will be $5 each and there will be a full cash bar to purchase anything else you desire!

When does the reception end?

The formal reception will end around 9:30 PM. We welcome all guests to continue celebrating downstairs in the game room, which will be open all night!

Are there overnight accommodations?

Answer

We encourage guests to stay the night in Foresthill or Auburn. Please see the travel section on the website for a list of places close to the venue.

Where should I stay overnight?

Answer

Miner's Camp and all the listed Airbnb's on the travel section of the website are within walking distance to the venue. The hotels in Auburn are a 15 minute drive from the venue, but it can be difficult to get Ubers so plan accordingly.
