Michael and Leah met in Tampa on the dating app Bumble in July of 2020. Michael was completing residency, and Leah had just moved home from California. The first date started with drinks. After their first drink and wonderful conversation, Michael nervously offered Leah an "out" of the date, but she laughed it off, and they ordered another drink. After some time, Michael suggested dinner, so they walked 2 miles to and from dinner, talking about everything and anything that came to mind. Needless to say, they learned a lot about each other. It was an instant connection between them. Within no time, Leah & Michael were almost inseparable. Leah instantly fell in love with Michael's wealth of random knowledge, the way he never let her win unless it was fair, and of course, his witty sense of humor... and that SMIRK! The moment Michael met Leah, he instantly thought, "This woman is too good for me" — classy, confident, and not afraid to have stimulating conversation from the start... and yes, the dollar value has increased since that time. IYKYK. Leah and Michael packed up and moved to Charleston after only a year of dating with their 2 frenchies, Daisy and Louie. After moving to Charleston, they bought a house and added another fur baby to the family, Arthur. They have traveled to some amazing places, but most notably, Michael's favorite are the two Packer games they attended together. They've gotten to meet and see some of their favorite music artists. They love to explore together, and there is never a dull moment. Michael enjoys Leah's fiery personality and how she will always let the waiter know if his order is wrong. Leah loves how Michael allows her to be herself completely, even if that means eating junk food in her sunggie. They are so excited to celebrate their love with their family and friends in Italy. They are looking forward to continuing building their life together.
