COVID-19 Update

Friends and Family, We are so excited to see you on September 12, 2020! As of now our wedding is still going as planned. If you feel ill or have been exposed to anyone Covid-19 positive please stay home to protect our vulnerable guests. We love you all- we are so ready to be married!

How Mandy met Andy

In January of 2013, I had just gotten back to San Marcos from a family vacation in the Virgin Islands. Tired and 100% not in the mood to go out I recieved a text from my now best friend Matisse BEGGING me to go to a frat party. I did not want to attend said frat party- but after many texts threatening to end our friendship I unwillingly obliged. Fast forward- I get to Matisse's college house and she immediately informs me that we are now going to her neighbor's house and that I'll probably like him. My mood changed, I was now 100% ready to go out. Matisse finds me a cleanish glass and makes us drinks (liquid courage). About an hour later we walk next door. Time passes and I see him walk into the room. We lock eyes. Is this a lifetime movie? Am I hallucinating from the probable fungus I ingested from Matisse's dirty glass? No- real life people. The liquid courage is pulsing through my veins. My mind is swirling- WHAT AM I GOING TO SAY!!? He makes his way around the room, greeting people, intermittently looking up at me. Then he walks into my vicinity. I pounce. "I don't think we've met before, I'm Mandy"- I say. He looks back at me- shocked (Is this love???) "Shut up, I'm Andy." (OK SO YES IT'S LOVE) We talked forever, when I left I wondered if I was going to see him again. That sense of wonder didn't last long because about 10 minutes later I marched back into his house armed with a piece of paper with my name, number, and note telling him to find a girl with a brain (hello- me!!). Without saying a word I tucked the note into his front shirt pocket, smiled, and left. That night my car got towed, but I assured my mom the next morning that although it was going to cost 200$ to get my car back that I had found my husband, so it wasn't all bad. The next evening he called me inquiring about a certain girl with a brain he’d met the night before. The rest is history y'all- I can't wait to marry this man. I knew it from the moment he said shut up I'm Andy- romantic, I know.
