Cory came to his first life group with River City church. Life group happened to be held at my home that night. I was smitten by his smile and eyes. Three days later, Amanda was working her second job at the time and Cory came into Planet Fitness. Cory was on the bicycle and Amanda recognized him, creeped a little, and messaged him on Facebook messenger and have been talking ever since.

Cory and Amanda have been talking about hiking in Florida, which is almost non-existent. We found a place called Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens in Gainesville. Cory decided to take me there for the long weekend. We began to walk around and expore the waterfalls, flowers and trails. Being myself and scatterbrained, I kept my eyes on one thing and moved onto the next. I was excited to be in God’s nature, what can I say. Cory finally got me on a very beautiful but scary bridge. I was trying to get off the bridge. He said my name as my back was turned away, and I spun around saw him on one knee. I have never felt my mouth drop that low in my life. I said YES to the best man I could have ever imagined.
