Maid of Honor
Allison and I met when we started working as Data Scientists at 84.51. She and I were the only two female data scientists that started in our class in Cincinnati, and I was so beyond thankful to not only have her as a coworker but a very close friend. She quickly became my go to, and was there for me through moving to a new city, a new job, and being in a long distance relationship with Chase. She is always there when I need her, and there are too many stories to count. We have enjoyed countless Masked Singer and Bachelor nights, concerts, and Papa John's with margs dinners. Allison is now killing it as a data scientist for Co-Star in NYC and although I'm sad she won't be in the same city as me anymore, I am so excited to see the amazing things she will do there!
Best Man
Eric and I have been friends since High School. Our friendship was founded on a mutual love for Euchre and playing GBA emulators during English. We went on to work at the same country club and attend The Ohio State University. Weekly meetings at the food hall evolved into weekly nights of Eric sleeping on our couch. We have endured many Cincinnati Sports failures, and enjoyed many Michigan failures together. Eric is one of the few people that can tolerate my obsession with roller coasters, and has probably attended Kings Island with me the most. He is one of the nicest and most dependable people I have ever met, as well as one of the greatest champions of the work hard, play hard mindset.
Bridesmaid
Megan and I have Ohio State housing to thank for this sweet friendship. Due to a mistake in their housing algorithm our Sophomore year, Megan (and Mallory!) were placed in my dorm suite by random chance, and the rest was history. I soon found myself spending more time in their dorm room than my own and we all stayed together as roommates the rest of my college career. I stood by Megan's side (virtually!) as she married her husband Jimmy in April of 2020, and I'm so excited to have her by my side in October. Megan is currently in nursing school set to graduate at the end of this year, and I can't wait to see the amazing impact she will have as a nurse!
Groomsman
Everybody Loves Kyle, and I don't mean that in the sarcastic sitcom way. Kyle will get along with anyone, as he is one of the funniest and nicest guys out there. He can always be counted on to bring the party music, as he is a connoisseur of dumpster fire playlists. This is assuming Kyle is able to wake up from his nap to attend said party. His love for naps is rivaled only by my sister. Kyle and I have been friends since High School, and he even lived with Nick and I for one year. To this day, he is the cleanliest roommate I have had. Our friendship has seen many hours at Canes, catching Pokemon, and arguing about Fantasy Football.
Bridesmaid
Along with Megan, Mallory and I also have Ohio State housing to thank for our becoming friends! Mallory was Megan's roommate, and I'll never forget the night she and I were walking back from dinner shortly after moving into our dorm. Mallory out of the blue told me how much they were glad they were randomly placed in my dorm room asked if I would live with her and Megan next year off campus. We lived in La Casita Blanca the next two years and made so many sweet memories we love to look back on. Mallory is my fellow dog lover and we talk about doodles and bulldogs frequently. Mallory is currently in grad school studying to be an OT and I'm so excited to see her thrive in this field!
Groomsman
Nick and I have technically known each other for over a decade, as our dads used to work for the same company! Nick and I really became good friends in High School. We both decided to become Buckeyes, and were roommates for 2.5 years. We have had great roommates (see above), and we have had awful ones, but we could always depend on each other. Nick is one of the easiest people to talk to, whether it be on sports, politics, music, or any one of his hottest takes. Nick and I also play a lot of the same sports, and have played many intramural leagues together.
Bridesmaid
Sam and I technically met our Freshman year at Ohio State when we both joined the OSU Community Orchestra as violists. However, as fate would have it Sam was also good friends with Megan and Mallory - as I discovered one day as she walked into our dorm room Sophomore year! After this we were all fast friends, and Sam was even essentially our backdoor neighbor when we lived off campus - so kind of an honorary roommate of ours. Sam is my sweet "mom" friend, and you could always count on her to bring over sweet treats and good conversation. She is currently an engineer working in Columbus, and I always look forward to our lunch time phone calls!
Groomsman
Andy is my cousin, but he has also always doubled as a great friend and mentor. Like Eric, he mostly shares my love for amusement parks, although he is sure to roast me for how nerdy I can be. Andy is largely the reason that I am an actuary, although I am not sure if I should thank him or curse him for that (joking). He is a great person to talk to, as he is thoughtful, kind, and gives good advice. He has always been a great example to follow, both in career and generally in life. Although, he now seems to be following my lead, as he recently got engaged!
Bridesmaid
Olivia is Chase's younger sister, and also the first member of the Martini family that I met after we started dating. Olivia is also an Ohio State Buckeye and is majoring in Data Analytics - so we always have lots in common to talk about! She was often hanging out with Chase and I and his friends when we were all still in school, and this is still a common occurrence years later. She was only a freshman when I first met her and is now going into her senior year at Ohio State, and it has been so exciting to see her excel in the last few years. I am so excited to be gaining a sister, and look forward to lots of memories to come!
Groomsman
Growing up, with two sisters who could not be more disinterested in sports, I always wanted a brother. Now, in a little over a year, I have gained 2! Austin is an excellent baseball player, and I hope to convert him to an avid golfer as well. Like me, Austin has a passion for everything sports news. He regularly turns his dorm room into a BDubs, with as many screens as possible. Although, like my fiancé, he has been poisoned into being a Cardinals fan. I recently got him on a bunch of roller coasters, and I see many amusement park visits in our future. Austin is attending St. Louis University in the fall, and I look forward to visiting him and watching the Reds triumph in Busch Stadium.
Bridesmaid
Aimee is Chase's older sister and the second sibling I will be gaining in October! Growing up I was the only girl and also the oldest in the family, so I am so excited to not only be gaining another amazing sister, but someone to look up to. Aimee married her husband Ryan in August of 2020 and has been so helpful with wedding planning and advice in the last year. Aimee is an accountant in Cincinnati, a fellow Disney lover, and is also an incredibly talented artist. I am always impressed with the pieces she creates - including a life size Belle dress at my bridal shower in Ohio!
Groomsman
Speaking of brothers, last August I gained one in Ryan! Though not officially part of our family until last year, it feels like he has been for longer. Though we do not bond on sports, Ryan and I have found plenty other interests, whether it be Catan, teasing my sister, or video games. Ryan and I also share in being the butt of my dad's favorite jokes: Neither one of us are particularly handy. Most importantly, no one has ever made my sister as happy as Ryan, and I am so excited to see what the future holds for them!
Dog of Honor
Although she can’t be there to walk down the aisle, Winnie is our Havachon puppy we adopted in January of 2021, and absolutely our “Dog of Honor”. Hopefully she will make a guest appearance at the wedding and maybe even crash some pictures :) She is a fiesty, friendly little ball of fur that has brought so much joy into our lives!
