FAQs

Question

WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER?!

Answer

Oh, trust me, I know. All of the wishes of my recent months have been for beautiful weather on this day, but alas, let the rain do what it will. THE PARTY IS RAIN OR SHINE! We have quite a large tent for the festivities so Plan B is in effect! I know it will be a little chilly as well, we do have heaters but perhaps bring a coat in case (and an umbrella!).

Question

Where is it?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are happening here at home sweet home! 27 Pleasant Drive, Feeding Hills, MA 01030.

Question

Where do we park/will there be transportation?

Answer

There will be a shuttle bus from the hotel, with pick-up at 2:45 in front of the hotel. (Ceremony begins at 4pm) and two return trips in the evening, one at 9:30pm and 11:00pm. FOR PEOPLE NOT STAYING AT THE HOTEL: - Anyone is able to park in the Riverdale plaza next door and take the shuttle that would like to do so. - There is some street parking on our street and a few neighboring ones, just be mindful of where you park (by driveways, etc.) We did pass letters out to neighbors so they should be aware. - Carpooling is always ideal if possible!

Question

Any specific dress code?

Answer

Not entirely! Casual formal attire is preferred. (No need for tuxes, we want you all to be comfortable, but it is a nicer backyard affair than a basic BBQ.) It certainly is a backyard wedding at the beginning of October, so we never know what the weather will be like. (*Fingers crossed Mother Nature is kind!*) If you tend to run chilly maybe bring a jacket of some sort. There will be tents and patio heaters, but always smart to plan ahead! Being mainly on grass, if you would like to wear heels be cautious of your choice!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love all of your kiddos, we are looking for an adult-only evening, please! Take the night off and celebrate with us! The wedding is 21+.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Only the people that are on the invitation are invited. While it is a backyard affair, there is still a lot of planning that went into it on our end, and our invitee list was intentional.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We do not have your traditional registry. We have been together for over six years and have a house, so we felt we did not need the traditional wedding shower and gifts, rather we are having a Jack & Jill! Everyone is welcome to come to the Jack and Jill at the Sons of Erin, 22 William St., Westfield, MA on July 29th. The event page: https://fb.me/e/V7mHxp30 If you are unable to attend and would like to give a gift, we are graciously accepting donations to our honeymoon fund. Please see the "Registry" tab for more details!

Question

Can we bring alcohol?

Answer

No. We have hired a vendor for the alcohol and therefore cannot have any outside alcohol. This could seriously result in the party being shut down so please respect this!

Question

What will the bathroom situation be?

Answer

We have rented a three-stall bathroom trailer for this purpose! The house will mainly be used by caterers and not be accessible.

Question

What will the food be?

Answer

We will have a catered buffet. Please let us know if you have any specific allergies or dietary needs, we will do our best to accommodate!
