Justin and I crossed paths many times before officially meeting at a high school football game. A rival game between Lebanon and Mt. Juliet. (MJ won, of course!) We dated for a while in high school and found ourselves drifting apart like many high school couples do. We went our separate ways but stayed in touch over the years, speaking occasionally and complimenting each other on how happy we looked. In June of 2020 everything changed. We were both single for the first time in years. We started to talk every single day. It was like we never stopped. We decided to give dating another try. Our time together since then has been so full of adventure and love. We can't wait to take on the world hand in hand as husband and wife!
Justin sent me on the sweetest journey with one of my favorite people in the entire world, my cousin Cara. We went to all of my favorite places to see my closest friends and family. At each stop, they had a charm and a clue leading me to the next place. Each charm represented something different about our relationship. I spent the entire afternoon laughing and having the time of my life seeing all of my favorite people. My journey ended at Gravel Road Traditions in Mount Juliet, the most beautiful photography spot I've ever seen. White rose petals led me up to where he was standing, waiting to ask me to marry him. He hired a photographer to capture all of the beautiful moments. Our families and friends joined us for a sweet engagement party. It was the most special moment and couldn't have been more perfect.
