You could say our story was always meant to be — it just took a little time for everything to fall into place. We grew up in the same town, went to the same preschool and elementary school, and I was even friends with Garrett’s brother. Life took us in different directions, but every year, fate had a funny way of bringing us back together — usually at the same local bar the night before Thanksgiving. We’d always talk and catch up, but one of us was always in a relationship, so it never quite aligned. Looking back, it’s as if the universe was waiting for the perfect moment to bring us together for good. That moment finally came on November 28, 2022 — our very first date. From the second we sat down together, everything just clicked. It felt easy, natural, and right. I left that night knowing deep down that this was the man I was going to marry someday. Our love continued to grow, and on March 22, 2024, Garrett proposed in the most romantic way imaginable — surrounded by over 400 roses in the sand at Laguna Beach, CA. It was everything I could’ve dreamed of and more. Not long after, we bought our first home together — a place where our love and laughter quickly filled every corner. Soon after, we found out we were expecting twin baby girls! Our hearts grew twice as big that day, and life has revolved around them ever since. They have brought more love and laughter than we ever thought possible. Now, surrounded by the love of our daughters, family, and friends, we can’t wait to finally make it official and begin the rest of our forever together.
