We met years ago we were about 5/6 years old on the same soccer team. Then my dad was Ryans flag football coach. We had always known of eachother but it wasnt until years later when I had just turned 18 that our hearts crossed paths. We both started to work at Golden Chick here in Hondo, Tx. First we were just friends so I would always give Ryan a ride home from work. He never wanted me to drive into his road so I always had to drop him off on the side of the road! lol We will never live that one down. His parents are always telling us "remember how lynzie used to dump you on the side of the road?" Not true! lol I'll never forget the first text Ryan sent me.."Bigcut?". For those of you who don't know Bigcut is little rest stop in between Hondo and Bandera that overlooks Hondo. At night it is so beautiful so on one of the first nights Ryan and I went there. Let me tell you from that point I knew we'd be inseparable. We were always talking no matter what time of the day it was (unless we were in school) even then when we passed eachother in the hall our eyes would meet but never would we talk because we were both so nervous. It wasn't until my last day of high school that Ryan asked me to be his girlfriend May 28th, 2016. I remember me and the rest of the seniors had just did our last walk throughout the schools and I went to find him so I could give him an invitation to my graduation party. The second our eyes met we blushed. The little moment our hands touch I felt a thousand sparks running through my body. So from then on we have grown to become a couple who has been together for 4 years and counting. We have become so blessed to have found eachother. For me (Lynzie) Ryan was and is my saving grace. He has always caught me when I fell. He saved me from becoming someone to whom I would have never pictured myself to have been. For me (Ryan) Lynzie is the woman who knows me inside and out. I can't imagine life without her. She truly is the woman of my dreams.
Ryan and I are pretty much homebodies. Sometimes. So it didn't come as a surprise to me when he decided to propose to me at home with nobody around. Ryan isn't one of those people to put on a show for others. We are complete opposites in that area. But I had always dreamed of my proposal being so big with everyone around and someone recording every second. But that wasn't Ryans plan. To be honest his plan and the way he proposed was much more special and intimate. I had just woken up at around 9am and when I looked up to see Ryan there on one knee and I was a mess. It was like time stopped for a minute and it was just us two without a care in the world. I have never known anyone that I could love so unconditionally and that could love me that exact same way. He is perfect. She is perfect. We spent the entire day out shopping and pretty much just spending time together. He did spoil me that day as well. We hid our engagement until about 7pm that night. We really wanted to just take it all in and just be together and celebrate with eachother. We sent a picture of my hand with my ring to our family and friends and of course we knew they'd be a little bummed they missed it but they truly are happy for us. It was/is about the fact that us two are sharing the rest of our lives together here on this earth. I have to be honest with you all it feels so perfect to have found the one whom my soul loves.
