How we met

Met on August 1, 2016

About 6 1/2 years ago our lives changed drastically. Two lonely souls met on the dating site okay Cupid. We both haven’t had much luck dating, so we both decided to give it a whirl. I know, I know dating sites have a lot of skeptics, but it was the best thing that has ever happened for the both of us. On the site he got two hearts from two different women, I was one for them. Out of the two of us he chose me and I felt so special for him to have picked me, and I couldn’t of been happier. 7 years later we’re still very much in love. We are ready for our next chapter, and can hardly wait!

Our first date

Summer of 2016

We both met at continental dinner in center city, which sadly closed during the pandemic. As we were seated we started singing the sailor moon theme song in the restaurant, after that we knew we were meant for each other. There was this magic force that just couldn’t be explained. After are dinner we decided to have a nice walk at Penns landing, then it poured. We were all wet but we both didn’t care cause we were so happy. To get out of the rain we decided to continue are date at Dave and busters, which we both loved! We played air hockey, and I won! We were very competitive, but in a good way we both loved winning. We had such a great time. After the date Pat dropped me off and gave me the biggest kiss ever. He has loved me ever since.

The Proposal

December 10, 2024

What a beautiful day it was. Pat and I went searching for our first Christmas tree for our new home. We thought it would be a good idea to chop a fresh one down. Neither of us did it before, so we said why not! The smell was unforgettable, the pine was so sweet. Pat worked really hard chopping the tree down, and almost had a heart attack. Before you knew it we had a beautiful spruce! When we got home Pat asked me to help him hold the tree in place and he anchored it into the base. Something felt off cause the tree trunk had a square shape and a matte feeling. It definitely was not a cylinder. So I pull my hand out to see What it was, you know what it was? You guessed it a black matte box with a ring in it. The stinker hid it in the tree! He bent down on one knee and said. “Will you marry me”. I froze, I couldn’t believe it. The happiness over whelmed me. I said yes. We both cried so hard from happiness. I love this man, and he loves me! I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.
