I don't even know where to start with Jake. He's a previous roommate that's been there for all the good and bad times. I literally met Sun in the most iconic way. We were walking around during Pride in San Francisco and they asked to take a picture of me and the sign I was holding that said "Abolish ICE". I told them we should just become friends after that and the rest is history. Sun literally is the epitome of a sun, warm and comforting. All your sorrows melt in their energy. Oh Javal... our friendship is chaotic in the best way lol. Javal was one of my first friends I made moving to New York which took a while to form cause they didn't know why I wanted to be their friend in the first place. Over time, our energies just mesh pretty well together because we're similar yet polar opposites. Javal will talk to you about anything and everything and will prove their point in the process. Well, Ruth is Ruth. Yes she's my sister and yes we didn't get along growing up. Surprisingly now she's one of the closest people in my life and I'm glad I'm not alone in our queerness. We've grown a lot together, literally and figuratively. I didn't realize how much I looked up to my sister until we got closer. She means the world to me and I didn't hesitate in wanting her to be a part of this wedding. She's weird, funny and critical because she's my sister and that's what siblings do. I love Jess! Ever since Ruth brought up talking to Jess I knew they were meant for each other. Jess brings out the soft, silly side in people and makes you feel right at home.
