It all started when mutual friends of ours, sisters Erica and Megan Ernst, suggested I go with them to a Church Lock In. Not long after being there we met each other. Luke and I made here and there conversations throughout the night, watched a movie, played video games and hung out throughout the night engaging in just getting to know you chit chats and all of the sudden we just clicked! Naturally neither of us exchanged phone numbers because we were both shy and going to different high schools. So I bugged some friends and youth leader for his number. A couple of weeks went by and I permanently joined the youth group at King of Glory and we went on our first date shortly after, a movie and Starbucks! The rest is history!

Both of us were pretty busy with work and we were hardly seeing each other. Luke decided it would be a great idea to go out to dinner and take a tour of the Christmas Lights at Conner Prairie afterwards. Dinner is all said and done and we go to see the lights, even though it is snowing pretty heavily we go anyway. We were outside walking around looking at the lights and he asked a worker there if he could take our picture. All of the sudden I look to my right and he gets down on one knee and he asked me to marry him!
