Maid of Honor
Where do I start. Kara and I grew up next door to each other and have been soul sisters since day one. She is the sister I never had and I can't imagine her not being there to walk with me down the aisle. From talent shows to graduations and boys to now husbands, she has been there for it all. If you see her over the weekend she'll be the tiny thing running around with most likely a Bloody Mary or Vodka Tonic in hand!
Best Man
Jake and I have been friends since day 1 of living in Central Oregon. From pee-wee football and basketball, to high-school, to roommates in San Diego while he finished his time in the Navy. Jake has always been there and I'm so proud to have him standing next to me!
Maid of Honor
Olivia and I met at in good ol'high school when we thought we ruled the school. It was love at first sight for us (at least for me) because I thought she was the prettiest girl I'd ever seen. We became fast friends and have been best friends ever since. We have a mutual love for our pups (also best friends, Kahlua and Emma), our champs, and now long talks over the phone (what used to be tea and York peppermint patties in her kitchen).
Groomsman
Grant and I were born just a couple months apart in Virginia. Our parents worked together and have remained close over the last 30 years. Grant and I reconnected in high school and have remained great friends ever since! After the birth of his beautiful daughter, Addie, I was asked to be her Godfather and have never felt more honored in my life.
Bridesmaid
Tiffanie and I cheered together in college and she has been in my life ever since. From cheering, to school, to extracurriculars in college she was always my go to girl then and still is. She is as personable as they come a quality I have always admired and loved. Now that she lives in LA our talks are most often over the phone but I am so excited she will be standing by my side for our beautiful Sunriver wedding. You will find her getting to know everyone over the weekend and hearing her contagious laughter from across the room!
Groomsman
Mr. Kidwell came into my life while we worked together at the Omni Hotel in San Diego. We quickly bonded over cocktails at a local rooftop bar where we realized we were going to be close friends. From there, we grew our friendship with hikes, golf and even vacations. Chad is the definition of a "stand-up" guy, despite his actual height. Chad and his wonderful wife Roxy, have played a huge role in both mine and Christina's relationship and we are truly lucky to have them.
Bridesmaid
Kota and I not only cheered together for 4 years in college, we were roommates for 3, and co-captains for 1; and I wouldn't trade those years for anything. As roommates you learn so much about each other; your good and bad habits, your routines, and everything in between. Lucky for me Kota loved me for both my good and not so good habits and we made it through college together. We went through boys, classes, cheer, and life and I am so grateful to have an amazing friend like her through it all and still to this day.
Groomsman
Coach Gary is the man! Not sure how else to put it...But he is also Christina's older brother. Gary is honestly one of the most intelligent and witty people I've ever had the privilege of conversing with. As all of us older brothers are, he was skeptical of my relationship with Christina early on. However, after some time together and witnessing Christina and I together, he quickly came around. Now, I'm confident I can go to Gary with anything. Additionally, I'm getting a brother!
Bridesmaid
Krysta was one of the first girls I talked to the first night of college cheer tryouts and we ended up graduating both being captains of our teams. She went to a nearby high school and was so incredibly sweet it's no surprise that we've stayed friends into our adult lives. Although we never lived together, we basically did my sophomore year as I don't think I ever left her apartment. From cheering, to hanging out, and studying I can't imagine my college life without her. I am also so extremely proud of her for just passing her Nursing boards this year; not only for her but in case any of us need medical support over the weekend!!
Groomsman
What can I say about Goldy? Goldberg and I met our freshman year of college where he was quick to recruit me to his fraternity. From then on we were pretty inseparable in college. At one point, we were even each other's dates to a sorority formal! Our senior year we had the opportunity to live together...and I mean we really lived together, sharing a room. After graduation we have remained close despite the miles between us (how cliche). Goldberg always brings humor to the situation and loves to debate anything regarding sports or music!
Bridesmaid
Mary Catherine is first and foremost my best friend in Denver and also happens to be Chris' middle sister. She moved to Denver 2 weeks after me and I am so thankful she did! We have been able to get so close over the last few years and I can't imagine it any other way. She is going to be my big sister soon and already takes on that role so well. She is loving but tells me when I'm out of line, pushes me outside my comfort zone, and encourages me when I need it. I'm so excited to be gaining her as a sister!
Groomsman
The "All American" Zach Prieston was my closest friend through college. He is our fantasy football expert, but the other guys won't admit that. From softball to golf, Zach has always been a stud athlete (and he'll be sure to tell you that). Zach and I have always manage to stay close and find something to talk about. If you're looking for Zach you'll probably find him checking his fantasy football lineup in the back of the room!
Bridesmaid
Jesse is the best person you will ever meet! She is Chris' youngest sister and my inspiration to be a more loving and caring person every day. She lives the life in Maui and I was lucky enough to visit her with the family last August. She basically lives all of our dreams every day; kayaks, swims with whales and dolphins during work on the boat, then camps and lives at the beach during her free time! You'll find the fun-loving Ms. Jesse enjoying Sunriver in all it's beauty over the wedding weekend as the life of the party and with a local craft beer in hand!
Groomsman
Justin "Vandy" Vandenberg and I met in college at Davis. Similar to Goldberg we were introduced via the fraternity. Vandy and I were often found in the wee hours of the night partaking in some sort of dance off. Vandy always won as he was quick to pull out his MJ moves, leaving me with nothing. Outside of his stellar dance moves, Vandy is your typical family man. He has one of the best relationships with his sisters you'll find. Really looking forward to reliving some of our college days out on the dance floor once again!
Greatest Dog Ever
Lulers will still be recovering from her 21st doggy birthday hangover over the wedding weekend, complete with pup cakes, raw hides, and treats. She is mighty excited to role her birthday into the wedding weekend, she told us. Although she despises the high temperatures, she is excited to see friends, family, and for her float down the river. Kahlua has been waiting for the day for her parents to officially tie the knot so the three of us can quit living in sin, she told us that too. In all seriousness, Kahlua has been and will always be our baby and we couldn't imagine our big day without her.
