Best Man
Back in the ancient times, Bryan and Lucas met at a small Korean church in Glen Burnie. While playing ping pong and football after service, they got to know each other little by little. He is a faithful man of God, but can be very goofy at times (I mean, really goofy). As they grew up together in the same church, they became more mature in their faith as they earnestly prayed for one another (well... Lucas did, but it's unclear if Bryan actually did). Nowadays, he is fervently working his way to break 100 in golf, but it doesn't look like he is going to reach it anytime soon.
Maid of Honor
It was back in their 7th grade Spanish class when Danme (aka Tracy) popped the question to Christiana: "Are you Korean?" Ever since then, the two of them had always been together: on bus rides, hanging out at Tracy's place, during swim practices and meets, at College Park when they took a Greek Mythology class and a Japanese 101 class, and when they went on a spontaneous trip to LA. As they basically grew up together, Christiana had always envisioned Tracy standing next to her at her wedding. And now, her childhood dream is coming true.
Groomsman
Joseph (aka Joe) is another faithful man of God that Lucas met last, but due to his kind nature, they became close fast. Joe is currently working hard to earn his PhD at Johns Hopkins. He used to always text the group asking, "What're you up to?". However, after he met his soulmate through Lucas's sister, he has since been nowhere to be found. It's been weeks (or perhaps months). If you see Joe anywhere, please let him know that he is dearly missed by the boys.
Bridesmaid
Seul Gi (aka Kelly) and Christiana met at church a long time ago, but it's only been a couple years that they began to really get close. Although Kelly adamantly denies it, Christiana knows this is due to Kelly's clumsy and humorous nature. They spent many days together tirelessly working and studying at a café that they nicknamed "Thanos" (and if you're able to guess why it's nicknamed that, Kelly will treat you)!
Groomsman
Jake is the legendary man who introduced Lucas and the boys to the golf world during the pandemic. He is a very good golfer and a decent friend. They met at church and spent a good amount of time together throughout middle school, high school, and college. One of Lucas's favorite memories is the sleepover party at Jake's house with Bryan. After seeing a huge bug in the basement, they all screamed and ran away. Out of fear, they had to sleep in the living room sofa together. To this day, it is a fine memory to all three of them.
Bridesmaid
According to numerous personality tests, Hyunjin and Christiana are a "match made in heaven". As Lucas's sister, she unfortunately happened to be the first to witness the couple's first PDA. Although it traumatized her, she loves to tell others about that moment. She claims that she always knew the two would get together and had already saved Christiana as "sister-in-law" in her phone from long ago.
Groomsman
Lucas knew Jeongmin even before he moved to America. Their mothers were high school friends in Korea, and they were well acquainted before Jeongmin first moved to America. After Lucas moved to America, his family temporarily stayed at Jeongmin's apartment before they found their first home directly above Jeongmin's. Jeongmin stayed by Lucas's side as he adjusted to all the new and unfamiliar environments in America. Currently, he is serving in the military in Germany. Although Jeongmin promises he will make it, Lucas is a bit nervous.
Bridesmaid
Perhaps it was their mutual love for music (specifically jamming to Christian songs on the keyboards and the violin), Studio Ghibli films, rom-com anime, reading, or even staying indoors that inevitably drew Jihyun and Christiana to one another. Now, Christiana is able to just know when Jihyun wants her company, so Christiana has occasionally invited herself over to Jihyun's to spare her the trouble.
