Smart casual attire recommended. Summer in NYC can be hot and humid, and there will be a lot more walking than you may initially assume. Consider wearing comfortable shoes. The event will be indoors, but there's likely to be bar hopping after-hours that could entail walking from place to place. The only suggestion: don't wear white

Lyft or Uber work best for those unfamiliar with the public transportation system. For Subway travel ($2.90 a trip) - Google Maps, Citymapper, or MTA Subway Time

What do I do in NYC?
Answer
The cocktail reception will take place in Greenwich Village in Manhattan - famous for its food, history, comedy clubs, jazz clubs, and proximity to popular parks. Your visit is your own! Michael's favorite places: John's of Bleeker Street is Michael's favorite pizza spot in Manhattan. Statue of Liberty or Central Park are great ways to enjoy a nice summer day in NYC. The Met Museum has something for everyone and a beautiful rooftop bar. Lindsay's favorite places: The Museum of Natural History has dinosaurs on the 4th floor. It's also right next to Central Park! If you want to be extra fancy, get a high tea reservation a few weeks in advance for the Palm Court at The Plaza.

Answer
Anywhere in lower Manhattan (from Times Square downward) or downtown Brooklyn will mean celebrations in Greenwich Village are accessible via a short Uber/Lyft or Subway ride. There are no hotel blocks.

No, the venue is a bar, and everyone needs to be over 21.
