Shannon met Carol in the winter of 2008 and everyone knew they would be best friends. They were correct. Ever since Shannon has relied on Carol for hours-long phone calls from airports, advice on all things, and always having better style. Despite a terrible track record of traveling to visit Carol in Texas or New York, Shannon has somehow convinced her to travel for a wedding in Oregon. She is eternally grateful.

Melanie is Aaron’s running buddy and best friend. Always eager to go the extra mile (on a run or as a friend).The perfect person to share stories about your week or a good slice of pie. She’s been there through the years of Aaron disappearing into tech for weeks at a time and is always supportive when the injury bug hits and takes away their regular running hangouts. If you can’t find her during the reception, she’s probably on the dance floor.

Grover met the couple in college but they really bonded afterward over rock climbing, kayaking, and tabletop games. As a former theatre person turned therapist, we knew he would be a great officiant for our wedding. he is also from Oregon.
