Our Story
We met as 10th graders in 2012, in our 3rd period Biology class at Pleasant Grove High School. We exchanged phone numbers the Friday before spring break. What started as a days-long text conversation grew into dates at Leatherby's, drives in Bailey's 1968 Mustang, roller-skating lessons, borrowed Marvel movie DVDs, and constant Facetimes through the remainder of our high school years. We spent 4 years long-distance while Amber completed her bachelor's degree at UC San Diego, and Bailey completed his bachelor's at CSU Sacramento, where quarterly visits gave us breaks in our continued hours-long Facetimes. Amber moved back home to Sacramento in 2018. Shortly after our 11th anniversary, Bailey proposed in Barcelona, Spain on May 31st, 2023 on our first international trip together. In July of 2023, we moved into a townhome together in Seattle, WA. After nearly 13 years of non-stop yapping, we're ready to tie the knot.
