Jan and Lopee first met in 2014 at Hope Church Singapore, where they began their journey together in the ushering ministry. After nearly a decade apart, Jan felt a powerful pull to return to Singapore, driven by his desire to pursue the love of his life, Lopee. Lopee was enchanted by Jan’s genuine heart and unwavering love and determination, while Jan found himself captivated by Lopee’s passionate devotion to worship and her love for the Lord. In 2023, love blossomed between them, and they quickly discovered that they couldn't stand to be apart. What began as days together swiftly turned into weeks, and before they knew it, those weeks melted into months filled with overflowing joy. Then, in a moment that took her breath away, Jan got down on one knee in February 2024… and with a heart full of love, Lopee said yes!
