Passport

Don’t forget your passport! Please note that your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date. As our wedding is on March 8th, 2024, your passport must be valid until at least September 8th, 2024. ¡No olvides tu pasaporte! Ten en cuenta que tu pasaporte debe tener una validez de al menos seis meses más allá de la fecha prevista de salida. Como nuestra boda es el 8 de marzo de 2024, tu pasaporte debe ser válido hasta al menos el 8 de septiembre de 2024.

Medellin–José María Córdova International Airport (MDE)

We recommend flying into MDE with either Avianca or Copa Airlines. From the airport we recommend taking the white airport taxi to your hotel/AirBnB. Recomendamos volar a MDE con Avianca o Copa Airlines. Desde el aeropuerto, recomendamos tomar el taxi blanco del aeropuerto hacia tu hotel o Airbnb.

We are working on offering transportation to and from the wedding venue for your convenience! We recommend not renting a car due to the challenges of finding parking and the hectic driving conditions in Medellín. The vibrant neighborhood of "El Poblado" is known for being a highly touristic area with plenty of attractions and activities to explore. From trendy restaurants and bars to shopping districts and cultural sites, there is something for everyone in this bustling neighborhood. To make transportation easier during your stay, we recommend utilizing ride-sharing services such as Uber. ¡Estamos trabajando en ofrecer transporte de ida y vuelta al lugar de la boda para tu comodidad! Recomendamos no alquilar un coche debido a los desafíos para encontrar estacionamiento y las condiciones caóticas de conducción en Medellín. El vibrante barrio de "El Poblado" es conocido por ser una zona altamente turística con muchas atracciones y actividades para explorar. Desde restaurantes y bares de moda hasta distritos comerciales y sitios culturales, hay algo para todos en este animado vecindario. Para facilitar el transporte durante tu estadía, recomendamos utilizar servicios de transporte compartido como Uber.

CURRENCY

The official currency in Colombia is the Colombian peso (COP). As of recent data, the exchange rate has been fluctuating between 4,600 and 5,000 Colombian pesos for 1 US Dollar. To simplify your calculations, a rough estimate is to divide your total pesos by about 4 or 5 to get an approximate value in US dollars.
