Weather-permitting, the cocktail hour will largely be held on the outside patio and lawn at Ekwanok Country Club. We will then move into a tented space for dinner and dancing. While the tent will have a floor, portions of the cocktail hour and transitioning to the tent will be on grass.
Dress code is black-tie optional. Tuxedos or dark suits with a tie for men, and full-length or cocktail dresses for women.
Guests are encouraged to drive themselves to and from the wedding mass at Chapel of the Snows on Stratton Mountain (~25-minute drive from Manchester). There is limited parking in the parking lot for the church, but there is plenty of parking across the street. Following the ceremony and upon arrival back in Manchester, transportation will be provided to and from Ekwanok Country Club for the four hotels we have room blocks at (Kimpton Taconic Hotel, Reluctant Panther Inn, Aspen at Manchester, and The Manchester View). For those not staying at these four hotels, you can drive yourself to Ekwanok Country Club. Our experience is that ride sharing services (e.g., Ubers, taxis, etc.) are unreliable in the area.
We have reserved room blocks at four hotels in Manchester (see the Lodging tab for more information). All room blocks have a two-night minimum. In addition to our room blocks, there are many other options for lodging in the Manchester area. In the event that you are looking to only stay one night, you can call any of the hotels in our room block to see if they have availability outside our block or explore other hotel options. However, we suggest looking into lodging as soon as you are ready since many hotels will ask for a two-night minimum given it is peak fall season in Vermont.
As much as we love kids - especially all of our friend's and family's kids - children are not invited.
