Question

Can I Come To The Wedding?

Answer

While we wish we could include everyone, the nature of a destination wedding (and the company hosting our wedding) dictates a small, fixed guest count. As we could only invite 35 guests, we are live-streaming the ceremony for friends and family at home to watch and take part in. We would be honored to include anyone who wishes to celebrate our marriage in the livestream - just send us your email.

Question

I've received an in-person invite. Can I bring my kids or a plus one?

Answer

Due to a fixed guest count (which children and babies count towards) we will only be allowing children in the bride and groom's immediate family. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and understand if you would prefer to celebrate over live-stream instead. Plus ones are allowed only if indicated on your invitation.

Question

When is the RSVP due date?

Answer

We are asking for RSVP's (for in-person attendees) to be turned in by 4.30.23, roughly 6 months before the wedding. It is recommended that you have your flights and lodging purchased before RSVPing.

Question

Is there a hotel block or discount code I can use for housing

Answer

While we have no hotel block, we do have a discount code for a few Waikiki hotels - see the Travel page for more details. The bride and groom will be staying at the Waikiki Banyan.

Question

Should I buy a gift?

Answer

As we are having a destination wedding, we do not expect to receive any gifts; your presence, in-person or digitally, is our present. However, if you would like to give us a gift, we have registered a list of charities whose causes we support and cash funds for extra wedding/honeymoon experiences we are saving up for. Please see "Registry" tab. Thank you so much for your generous support and blessing.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Resort Casual and comfortable Halloween costumes (no full cosplay please!) We recommend wearing comfortable flat shoes, as we will be walking over grass to reach the ceremony area.

Question

Is there a reception?

Answer

Yes! We will be hosting a dinner at the Cupola Gallery in Stage Restaurant, located in the Honolulu Design Center. The reception will start at 6, with dinner starting at 6:30, and ends at 10. There may be a beach afterparty, depending on the Bride's social tolerance by that point.

Question

Is there parking at Stage Restaurant?

Answer

We have been assured that there is free parking available at Stage Restaurant for all guests, but you can also take an Uber, a cab, or a 20 minute walk to restaurant as well (the ceremony will end at roughly 4:20pm and the reception will begin at 6, so there will be ample travel time.)
