We met in the Navy onboard USS Abraham Lincoln ship at the tail end of Chris' tour as he was getting transferred to the beautiful island of Crete, Greece. A friendship that soon became more interesting through the long phone conversations throughout the day and night (even with the 7 hours time zone difference!). Well, one random day in 2018, he asked Liz Santos (mind you I hadn't travel outside the U.S since El Salvador) if I would like to go visit Greece... long story short it was a magical trip exploring Athens, Mykonos and the romantic island of Santorini together. This was the best trip of our lives for both of us because Greece sure made a mark on us. This was Chris' first time outside the U.S and living abroad and also where our love story started... AND THEN he went down on one knee July 2, 2023 and asked me to become his wife and build a life together. Of course I said YES! otherwise you wouldn't be reading this love story, right!? lol .... Through all ups and downs, through many sicknesses and good health, through school degrees, through military moves, through many life events, we have fallen in love even more with each other and NOW we cannot wait to make it official by saying "I DO" with all of you present and even better to seal our love story back in the country where started it all.
