FAQs

IMPORTANT: Please review the vaccine verification steps BEFORE booking hotels or flights.
Question

Are vaccines required?

Answer

Yes. With Liz on the front lines as an ER Physician throughout the pandemic, the pandemic has been especially hard on us. In order for us all to gather safely to celebrate, we will REQUIRE all guests to be fully vaccinated (SEE DEFINITION OF FULLY VACCINATED BELOW). Please see instructions below on VACCINE VERIFICATION.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

No. Unfortunately, due to capacity constraints and vaccine requirements, we have only sent out invitations to those college age and above.

Question

Is there a discount for hotel rooms at the Abbey?

Answer

Yes, at this time. After the number of blocked rooms has been booked, we cannot guarantee the discounted rate. To book the discounted rate for October 28 and October 29, please call The Abbey Resort at 1-800-709-1323 and mention that you are a member of the Regan-Hawkins wedding or the group code 11N806.

Question

Am I invited to the welcome dinner and farewell brunch?

Answer

Everyone is invited to all events during the weekend, including the welcome dinner and farewell brunch. We ask that you please RSVP to each event so we can have an accurate headcount for each.

Question

What is considered fully vaccinated?

Answer

At this time we consider fully vaccinated as one of the following: FIRST DOSE WAS PFIZER OR MODERNA: 1. Received both doses between April 29, 2022 and October 15, 2022 OR 2. Received initial doses before April 29, 2022 and received a booster before October 15, 2022. FIRST DOSE WAS JOHNSON & JOHNSON: 1. Received first dose between July 29, 2022 and October 15, 2022 OR 2. Received initial dose before July 29, 2022 and received a booster before October 15, 2022. Since this is an evolving situation, we will communicate with all guests if these requirements change.

Question

When will my vaccination status be verified?

Answer

We will be verifying everyones vaccination status prior to travel to the wedding venue AND upon arrival to the wedding venue.

Question

What do I need to do to verify my vaccination status?

Answer

EMAIL a picture or screenshot of ONE of the three options below to brooksandliz2022@gmail.com. OR MAIL a COPY of ONE of the three options below to Peggy Regan (14024 Marilyn Terrace, Orland Park, IL 60467). OPTIONS (Please choose 1): 1. Vaccine card 2. State vaccination record (For example, Illinois Vax Verify - https://dph.illinois.gov/vaxverify.html or Texas ImmTrac - https://www.dshs.texas.gov/immunize/immtrac/clients.shtm or through MyChart) 3. Digital vaccine pass through Apple Wallet, Samsung Pay Vaccine Pass, or Google Pay.
