Alec and Liz met in the fall of 2019 with a few encounters before then. They were both on the sailing team. The first time they spoke was at homecoming tailgate. Alec invited Liz up to the attic where they continued to talk and Liz tried on his helmet (this moment can be found in the photos tab). A couple of weeks later Alec asked Liz out for drinks. Their first date was at Homegrown on Main Street. They officially began dating in December. When the pandemic began Alec began staying at Liz's Apartment a lot. They spent the early months of the pandemic doing puzzles on the table Alec made. In June they officially moved in together. For the next months, they lost a dog, gained a cat, celebrated their birthdays, and had many nights cooking while watching shows and movies (with Liz usually falling asleep). On November 21, 2020, Liz got ready to go to Longwood for holiday photos. The same day Alec also got ready to go to Longwood, but he knew something Liz did not. As they were walking through the lights they came across a tunnel. There they stopped, Alec got down on one knee and asked Liz to marry him. Liz screamed "No!" then "YES, YES, YES" (the no was out of shock, she couldn't believe it was happening). It was a very long 3 seconds for Alec. And now we are here getting ready to celebrate this couple and the journey of forever they are about to embark on.
