Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP on this website by February 20th, 2026. If we do not hear from you by that date, we will assume that you are not able to make it and that place may go to someone else as space is limited and others may wish to bring guests or children if space allows. If you are having technical issues or want to double check that the RSVP was received, please reach out to us.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the Boathouse no sooner than 5:00pm, but no later than 5:20pm. We will start the ceremony itself around 5:30pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress formally for the event and appropriately for the weather. The venue is NOT temperature controlled and the ceremony will be outside, it may be cold! There will also be a coat check if you find that you don't need your coat after all. We also recommend that you wear shoes that you can comfortably dance in. The floor of the Boathouse is uneven bricks, please take that into account when selecting shoes.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limitations on the size of the venue, we ask that people don't bring any guests unless their invitation specifically said "& guest". If you'd like to still bring somebody, please reach out to us and we'll see if we can accommodate you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love children, but space is very limited at the venue. If "& family" or "& kids" were not listed as part of the names on your invitation, please reach out to us before RSVPing for them.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a wedding block booked at the Towneplace Suites by Marriott in Park Slope. There is a link to book on the "Travel" page of this website, though the number of rooms with the discounted block rate is limited, so we recommend booking early!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please reach out to us as soon as possible so that we can work with the caterer to see what our options are for making sure you have a safe and satisfying meal.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

No, unfortunately there is no on-site parking. While street parking may be available nearby, we strongly suggest taking the subway, an Uber/cab, or (for those staying in our recommended hotel suites) we recommend taking our provided transportation to and from the event.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Yes! Please keep in mind that the venue has arrival and cut off times that are strictly enforced. Please do not arrive early and please do not leave late. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please reach out to us!
