We met online in November 2021 and bonded over our love of Star Trek and Dungeons & Dragons. Things clicked for us on the subway ride home after our second date--we had gone to see an opera and were both afraid to say that we had thought it was terrible. Once we realized that we were on the same page, we had a great time together criticizing the performance, music, and narrative choices to death. By our third date (a trip to the Natural History Museum to look at a shark exhibit) we decided to start dating officially. After a year, we moved in together. Since then we've continued to have a wonderful time going to theater performances, travelling to Greece, adopting a cat, playing games together, and sharing our critiques and opinions about every topic under the sun. We got engaged in June 2025 during Rose Night at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, where we love spending weekends together. We can't wait to celebrate our wedding with all of you, take a lovely honeymoon trip to Greece and start building our family together!
