We're lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. There's tons to do in San Diego! 
We live in Coronado, the small island right outside downtown San Diego. The wedding venue itself is about 45 minute drive from Coronado.
There is a room block at the Lakehouse resort (closer to the venue) on Wednesday and Thursday evening (10/20 and 10/21). There's also lots to do there. I suggest a hotel on Coronado island for the remainder of your stay.
