Miami (MIA) is the easiest option for most guests. Fort Lauderdale (FLL) is a smart alternative. Key West (EYW) offers the most scenic drive through the Keys. See the "Getting There" tab for more details.
Yes, we strongly recommend renting a car. Ride-share services can be limited in Key Largo, and having a vehicle will make exploring much easier.
Yes, but by request only. If you are interested in staying at the resort as part of the room block, please let Kayla know as soon as possible, via text or call, at (443) 693-2709 so we can include you. Limited availability; first come, first serve.
Yes, you can go to the Playa Largo Resort & Spa during our wedding weekend, even if you are not staying on-site. Visitors can access the restaurants, bars, spa, and participate in events like the "Even Tide" sunset celebration. Day passes are available for amenities like pool and beach access.
While we adore your little ones, our wedding events will be adults-only. We hope you enjoy a relaxing getaway with us!
Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the beach at Playa Largo. Think beach cocktail attire; light, breathable fabrics and shoes suitable for sand. December evenings in the Keys are typically mild, but a light layer for later in the evening is never a bad idea.
Chairs will be provided on the beach for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. You wonβt be standing in the sand (unless you want to).
The ceremony will begin promptly at the time listed on your invitation. We recommend arriving 15β20 minutes early to find your seat and settle in before we start.
December in the Keys is beautiful! If a quick tropical shower passes through, we'll simply pause and let it pass before continuing the celebration.
Yes, Playa Largo provides onsite parking. Self Parking is complimentary and valet parking is $35/day.
